  • How ambulatory surgical procedures continue to expand in scope/complexity and why financial stewardship is needed for sustainability
  • Key risk factors that could impact medication safety and prevention of controlled substance diversion in the ASC setting
  • Contemporary research outlining holistic costs of waste, taking into consideration workforce, drug waste and disposal
  • Strategies for engaging key stakeholders in developing an action plan to optimize controlled substance use and management while reducing labor expense and drug waste in ASCs
